Canadian artist/entertainment mogul Milz has built a solid reputation of excellence and justifiably a strong buzz surrounding the wildly dynamic music he’s been releasing over the past several years. Taking over the industry one piece at a time, he’s built an empire early on in his career; from the success of his beat store at www.beatstars.com/rounddaclock, to the signature swag produced by his clothing line and the full “Ripple Effect'' caused by his first music video racking up countless clicks in support. On top of all of that, Milz plans to eventually offer mobile vocal engineering, ghostwriting, videography, and photography services to emerging artists.
Based out of Edmonton, Alberta, with a firm goal set for worldwide superstardom, Milz has been working around the clock on a set-list of his very best; an all-out preparation to take over the nation single by single, release by release. Milz began his musical life playing drums in church at only eight years old. He and his siblings would also make cassette mixtapes by recording songs off the radio, adding their voice overs afterwards. He became a Dramatic Arts student in high school and performed both as a vocalist and as a dancer. As he grew, he became more involved with music production and began listening to a wide range of music. Drawing inspiration from artists including Timbaland, Lil Wayne and Vybz Kartel. While concurrently finding a deep connection to Rock and Roll Oldies, and movie soundtracks. This deepens his artistry on many levels and allows him to always be unique.
A full black ginger with a natural red beard, Milz combines satire into tracks that perfectly expresses his high levels of energy and enthusiasm. These days, Milz is a rising star and businessman who many have dubbed “the Dr. Dre of Edmonton.” His style combines old school deep thinking with the flows and language of the modern era. He gets compared to Childish Gambino but remains himself at all times.
